David Alm is a Brooklyn-based writer, journalist, editor, and professor at Hunter College, CUNY. He has written about the arts, politics, business, and distance running, and is currently a contributor at Forbes.com, for which he writes about art and film, and the editor at an international business and political risk intelligence firm based in New York City. He has ghostwritten two books on new media design and film-making with the late Hillman Curtis as well as numerous essays, op-eds, and additional materials, principally in the areas of international politics and business. He holds an MA in humanities, with an emphasis on English and cinema studies, from the University of Chicago.
